CPERC is the main source of natural history and protected species information for the whole of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.
We work with a broad variety of organisations, individuals and government bodies to be able to provide as much information as possible on the wide range of species and habitats found across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.
The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Environmental Records Centre (CPERC) collate, manage and store data that describe biodiversity in the local area. This data forms an evidence base upon which decision makers should refer to when making decisions which may impact on wildlife or wildlife habitat.
Our users are typically planning and environmental departments within local government authorities, private sector consultants and others with an interest in environmental information.
Our data is checked for completeness, currency and provenance before it is made available for use.
